  1. I Want To Be Your Superman
  2.  
  3. I know it sounds silly,
  4. but I was just reading some comics,
  5. and I was thinking how much 
  6. I would love to be a superhero.
  7.  
  8. Not for the fame, or glory,
  9. or the adrenaline rush of 
  10. flying through the night sky,
  11. but for you.
  12.  
  13. IÆd change the course of the tides for you.
  14. IÆd be the worldÆs hero,
  15. just so that you could enjoy life
  16. for everyday that I save it.
  17.  
  18. IÆd risk my life for you.
  19. Putting myself in danger for you
  20. would be no problem because
  21. IÆm a superhero, your Superman.
  22.  
  23. Now, it all seems silly right?
  24. I obviously donÆt have superhuman strength,
  25. but that doesnÆt matter to me, 
  26. cause being a superhero to you would mean that
  27. IÆd be there for you, whenever you need
  28. a friend to talk to, 
  29. someone to go out for ice cream with.
  30. Someone to help you with any problem that might come up.
  31.  
  32. But if I could fly, 
  33. I donÆt think there would be another person more worthy to take flying with me.
  34. You belong amongst the stars.
  35. You deserve everything that my super powers could provide.
  36.  
  37. If I could turn the tides, I would do it for you,
  38. if you needed me to.
  39. I would be your Superman!
  40.  
  41. I want to be your superman,
  42. I want to take you flying across cityscapes at night.
  43. YouÆve taken me so far,
  44. just in the times IÆve looked in your eyes.
  45.  
  46. I want to be your superman,
  47. and if you ever are in need of help,
  48. IÆll be there for you.
  49. IÆll be there because I feel you deserve all that I am able to give to you.

  51. I want to be your Superman,
  52. will you be my Lois Lane?
